Chemical Sales / Hazardous Waste Manager

The candidate is focused on promoting and selling chemical products, building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical support to customers, aiming to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. In addition, responsible for generating leads, developing client relationships, and securing contracts within a defined territory, focusing on the sale of industrial hazardous waste management solutions and services.

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in various industries (e.g., Printing, Manufacturing, Aviation & Aerospace, Marine). 
  • Promote and sell chemical products, focusing on specific applications or solutions. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. 
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored chemical solutions. 
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
  • Present hazardous waste management solutions and services, tailoring them to client needs and preparing competitive proposals. 
  • Identify and target potential industrial clients needing waste management services. 


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in sales and demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Internship or work experience in a sales or customer-facing role within the chemical industry
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales techniques

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of chemical products and their applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks, and Email clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics software
