Job Description: Press Brake Operator
· Primary duty includes handling and operating press brake equipment to bend and shape metal parts according to designated specifications.
· Ensure all parts meet the proper dimensions and quality parameters outlined by the drawing.
· Responsible for conducting routine inspections of press brake equipment ensuring all components function optimally, and calibrating equipment for specific tasks.
· Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and production documentation.
· Set up equipment and tooling; and operate numerical control (CNC) software to guide the machinery and adjust as needed during production runs for accurate results.
· Ensure that safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) years of painting preparation, touch-up, part mark, spray paint, silk-screen, or related experience
  • Ability to use handheld power tools, paint equipment, and bulky parts and assemblies
  • Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret production blueprints preferred.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.

· Preparing and applying dry powder to metal products.
· Preparing parts by sanding, cleaning and priming parts.
· Spraying powder onto parts, adjusting sprayer valves and nozzles when needed.

Loading and unloading parts onto lines and pallets.
· Moving parts into and out of ovens to cure the powder coating.
