Job Description
As a Residential Remodeling Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our client’s projects by providing accurate cost estimates for remodeling and construction projects. You will collaborate with the sales team, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay within budget and exceed client expectations.
Monday-Friday
7am-5pm
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year, salary based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential remodeling projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Analyze and compare bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to provide estimates that reflect design intentions and client needs.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide estimates for potential clients and assist in securing new projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all estimates.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
