Job Description

Primary Objective: Wire Electrical control panels to UL508A specifications. Wire automated packaging equipment to NFPA70 standards following GMPA guidelines.
Key Job Duties:
1. Able to perform all job duties of the Electrical Assembly position.
2. Capable of reading and understanding electrical control schematics and layout drawings.
3. Wire control panels from wiring schematics, BOM’s and layout drawings.
4. Wire automated packaging machinery from wiring schematics, BOM’s and layout drawings.
5. Create wiring harnesses in a neat and efficient manner.
6. Works with Engineering and other departments to improve electrical efficiency of machines and keeps projects on track.
7. Works with teammates to make sure projects are done as scheduled.
8. Helps to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
9. Contributes information to supervisors for procedure and or design improvement.
10. Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed in support of good manufacturing practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED required
Technical school experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills: Excellent understanding of electronics, computer and automation technologies.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes is preferred.
UL508A experience preferred.
Experience and/or Other Requirements:
2 years experience in a related position preferred , assembly and wiring of industrial control panels and wiring of industrial machinery
