Clerical / Admin / Reception

This role completes many tasks to promote efficient operations in the office. The duties and responsibilities may depend on the workplace and industry in which they work but often include:
Greeting guests and answering the phone at a reception desk or in a specific department and transferring calls as needed
Sorting and delivering incoming mail and collecting and sending outgoing mail
Create documents, maintaining databases and sending memos and emails
Collecting, filing and organizing office documents, such as reports and confidential records
Managing digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence
Transcribing or taking notes during meetings and writing minutes, memos and/or agendas

Customer Service / Call Center

This role is the assistance and guidance a company provides to people before, during, and after they buy a product or service. Their duties and responsibilities often include:
Listening to customers’ concerns and handling complaints and returns
Giving detailed explanations of services or products
Working with a sales team to create better methods to address customer complaints
Reviewing customer accounts and transactions while resolving issues
Communicating with customers in-person, through email or chat, over the phone or on social media
Receiving orders, calculating charges and processing payments
Referring customers to superiors when necessary

Accounting / Business Management

Responsibilities include prepare and examine financial records, managing the accounts payable, ensuring records are accurate and that taxes are paid. Different types of duties may include the following:
Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
Managing income and expenditure accounts
Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company

Warehouse / General Labor / Machine Operators

Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, production, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Some responsibilities include:
Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery
Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
Using machine equipment to complete tasks
Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment
Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.

Manufacturing / Production

Responsible for helping assemble and prepare products for shipment. Their duties include placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production. While the specific job duties and responsibilities will often depend on the industry in which they work, Production Workers typically have the following responsibilities:
Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders to move materials or completed products and packages to established locations
Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery

Logistics / Shipping / Receiving

Responsibilities include preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Can perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. The following are some duties and responsibilities:
Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company
Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis
Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
