Traveling Construction Superintendent

Job Description

• Weekly Pay/Salary based.
• Competitive Pay Rates; salary range starting at $80k - $150K
• Hours will vary based on workload.
• Requires Travel; travel home on weekends where drivable, otherwise flights home paid every 3 weeks. Per diem and housing included.

• Assume total responsibility for a quality-built project.
• Monitor the progress, performance, and quality of each Trade Partner’s work.
• Manage project budget
• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and laborers to ensure quality standards are met
• Develop and manage project schedules using construction management software.
• Prepare and review construction estimates, contracts, and schematics to ensure accurate project planning.
• Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to specifications.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including change orders and daily logs.

• Self-starter and planner
• Ability to supervise and lead a construction team
• Knowledge of all building plans and all trade responsibilities, building products, equipment, and construction methods.
• Computer, iPad/iPhone literate and proficient using Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook email functions, Teams, SharePoint/one drive, etc.
• Problem solving and multi-tasking is required.
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of contract management processes and construction schematics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
