• Check-in and check-out patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and verify personal information for billing purposes
• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history in electronic medical records
• Work in conjunction with physicians and staff to maintain patient flow while supervising and managing the patient waiting area
• Assist physicians and/or physician assistants with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
• Manage inventory of medical supplies, prepare examination rooms, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and instruments

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required
• CMA certification through the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) required
• 2-5 years' experience in a similar healthcare role preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA compliance
• Strong communication and computer skills (MS Office Suite and electronic medical records)
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
