The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sheet metal fabrication and assembly, with a proven ability to interpret technical documentation and work independently or as part of a team. Job Description Sheet Metal/Fabrication Assembler:
In this role, you will read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate and assemble high-quality sheet metal components. The ideal candidate is proficient with all types of measuring tools, shears, press brakes, rollers, and hand tools, and takes pride in producing precise, durable work.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Technical Skills:
Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and equipment, including rivet guns, grinders, and other hand and power tools.
- Blueprint Literacy:
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Attention to Detail:
Demonstrated ability to produce precise, high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Safety-Conscious:
Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety standards and best practices.
