We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual for a Manual Mill/Lathe Machinist/non-CNC machining position. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic machine shop practices and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves hands-on machining, measurement, and fabrication work with materials such as aluminum and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual machining and fabrication tasks using lathes, mills, saws, and other standard shop equipment.

• Select appropriate tools and materials for each job based on specifications and tolerances.

• Accurately measure components using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of finished parts.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Assist with setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of manual machines as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manual machining or fabrication environment preferred.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.

• Proficient in the use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).

• Familiarity with machining aluminum and stainless steel materials.

• Strong attention to detail, safety, and workmanship.
