Job Description: Awning Technician

As an awning construction technician you will install and repair awnings as well as take down and put up awnings in the fall and spring. As an essential member of our team, technicians should be mechanically inclined, comfortable working on ladders, and comfortable working in various weather conditions. Uniforms, tools, and on the job training are available for new technicians. are a plus. After a 3-month probationary period, employees will be offered benefits, PTO, and qualify for a raise.  

• Awning Installer:
• Use various hand tools, work with ladders to construct and install residential and commercial awnings. 
• Take down awnings during the fall to prepare them for winter storage.
• Assist other team members in the shop when not in the field.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Job Requirements: Awning Technician

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Comfortability working on ladders.
• Must be able to tolerate various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail.
