Job Description: Saw Operator

- Set up the saw machine and install blades.
- Adjust cutting speeds for material ranging from Aluminum to Stainless Steel.
- Hold cut tolerances to 1/- 1/16” and smaller.
- Use tape measure and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Basic computer and Calculator skills.
- Understand blueprints including geometric, dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Maintain all paperwork pertaining to required job.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Saw operator position offers the opportunity to become a machine apprentice.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Two (2) years of painting preparation, touch-up, part mark, spray paint, silk-screen, or related experience
Ability to use handheld power tools, paint equipment, and bulky parts and assemblies
Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred
Ability to read and interpret production blueprints preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
