Position: Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour (based on experience)


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with case preparation, legal documentation, client communication, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient and effective case management. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced personal injury environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to personal injury cases
  • Maintain and organize case files, medical records, and legal documentation
  • Conduct legal and medical research to support case development
  • Coordinate schedules, including court dates, depositions, client meetings, and medical appointments
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, discovery, and case management
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal standards
  • Assist with the collection and organization of medical records, bills, and lien information

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal department preferred
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation, legal terminology, and court procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal case management software
  • Experience handling medical records, billing, and insurance documentation
