Job Summary:
The Administrative Clerk provides general clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role is responsible for handling routine administrative tasks, maintaining records, and assisting staff and the public with inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and filing systems (both electronic and paper)
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • Provide customer service to internal staff and external clients or visitors
  • Process forms, documents, and applications in accordance with established procedures
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars as needed
  • Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
  • Support office operations by ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

  • Office setting with regular interaction with staff and the public
  • May require prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and using office equipment
