Job Description:
This role involves repairing damaged dumpsters, repainting them to company standards, and performing general maintenance to extend the life of equipment.
- Inspect dumpsters for damage, rust, or wear and tear and perform repairs including welding, metal patching, and structural reinforcement.
- Sand, prep, and paint dumpsters according to company specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment; document repairs and inventory of materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations including PPE usage and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in metal repair, welding, painting, or equipment maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment safely.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must reside in Clearwater, FL or within 15 miles.
