Job Summary:

The Truss Stacker is responsible for efficiently and safely stacking completed wood trusses coming off the assembly line. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workflow and ensuring trusses are properly organized for storage, loading, and delivery. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely stack and organize finished trusses according to size, type, and job order.

• Work closely with assembly line workers, forklift operators, and loaders to ensure efficient material flow.

• Inspect trusses for quality and damage before stacking.

• Place proper blocking or dunnage between trusses to prevent damage during transport.

• Keep work area clean and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment.

• Assist with tagging and labeling trusses for shipment as needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.

• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately.

• May assist in other general labor tasks as required.
