Job Description:
The Operations Manager oversees the daily scheduling, deployment, and productivity of multiple landscaping crews, ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to company quality and safety standards.
- Ensures crews leave each day with the right employees, equipment, materials, and work orders, and conducts regular field inspections for quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates vehicles, equipment, and material needs with office personnel, and ensures maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
- Holds crew leaders and employees accountable for productivity and professionalism, and trains and mentors field employees to improve efficiency and performance.
- Communicates project progress, delays, staffing concerns, and customer issues to ownership, and maintains accurate job notes and updates using company software.
Job Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, construction, or other field-service operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and active projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between jobsites throughout the Tampa Bay region
- Ability to work outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
