Job Description : Inspector
The Quality Control Inspector – Visual Inspection is a hands-on, inspection-focused role within our manufacturing environment. This position is primarily responsible for performing detailed visual inspections and using measuring devise (Calipers)  to confirm product details.
  • Perform hands-on visual inspections as a primary job function, including repetitive inspection of components and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues through detailed visual examination.
  • Maintain focus and accuracy while performing inspection tasks for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Accurately document inspection results in compliance in systems
  • Generate inspection records
  • Use conventional inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify measurements and specifications.
  • Ensure inspection equipment is properly qualified and calibrated prior to use.
  • Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally to leads and managers.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and quality operations.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Able to read and use measuring devises calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Able to read and follow work instructions & able to recognize functional and cosmetic defects. 
  • Responsible for the assembly, testing, and packaging of product.  
  • Requires the use of assembly equipment, SAP, and standard work.  
  • Demonstrated experience performing visual inspections as a regular part of prior roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
