Job Description
Horizons HR Services is immediately hiring 20–30 Assemblers for a beautiful, climate-controlled greenhouse facility in Oberlin, Ohio. Employees will work in an assembly-line-style environment preparing flowers, including orchids and mums, for shipment.
This is a 10-week assignment starting Wednesday, September 9, offering a consistent weekday schedule and weekly pay!
We Offer:
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
- Weekly Pay!
- Shift: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Occasional mandatory Saturday overtime consisting of a five-hour morning shift
- Assignment Length: Approximately 10 weeks
- Location: Oberlin, OH 44074
Job Duties: Assembler
- Prepare orchids, mums, and other flowers for shipment
- Perform repetitive assembly-line-style production tasks
- Package and organize products according to customer orders
- Inspect flowers and packaging for quality
- Maintain an organized and efficient workstation
- Stand and remain active throughout the shift
- Follow all workplace safety and production procedures
- Meet daily production and shipping goals
Job Requirements
- Must be able to speak English or Spanish
- Must be comfortable standing throughout the entire shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Ability to work at a steady pace as part of a team
- Must be available for occasional mandatory Saturday overtime
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to complete a drug test
- Reliable transportation to Oberlin, Ohio
- Dependable attendance is required for the full 10-week assignment
Previous assembly, production, packaging, warehouse, greenhouse, or floral experience is helpful but not required.
