Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Weekly Pay
• Hourly pay starting at $31.00/HR
• 1st Shift Availability (5:00am – 1:30pm, Monday – Friday)
• Scheduled overtime, with Saturdays as needed
• All other PPE furnished by the client

• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment (motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulic pump systems, presses, and other production equipment) using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Installs and troubleshoots new equipment as directed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to ensure maximum productivity.
• Works with production operations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical issues.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• 2+ years of related maintenance experience and/or training required.
• Ability to read and understand prints and schematics.
• Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Crane, Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV), and Ladder & Sling certifications required.
• Ability to perform basic math (proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and geometry).
• Ability to use small hand and power tools, including reading a tape measure in 1/32-inch increments.
• Must provide own steel-toe shoes with metatarsal guards.
