Irrigation Repair Tech

Job Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation system issues.
• Repair and replace sprinkler heads, valves, solenoids, fittings, PVC pipe, drip irrigation, and other irrigation components.
• Locate and repair irrigation leaks and broken underground lines.
• Troubleshoot irrigation controllers, timers, sensors, wiring, and electrical components.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and watering schedules.
• Adjust sprinkler heads and irrigation zones for proper coverage and efficient water usage.
• Inspect irrigation systems and identify potential problems.
• Perform irrigation system start-ups, shut-downs, and seasonal adjustments.
• Respond to irrigation service calls and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, tools, and job sites.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable Florida watering regulations.
• Perform additional irrigation and landscape-related duties as needed.

• Previous irrigation repair or maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine the proper repair.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation electrical systems, controllers, wiring, and solenoids.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing and able to travel to St. Petersburg and other job locations as required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
